William W. Platt

William “Bill” Platt, age 62, of Carroll and formerly of Glidden passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Accura Healthcare in Carroll.

Born on November 8, 1956 in Carroll, IA, he was the son of James and Joan (Kunze) Platt.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 25th at 2:00pm at The Chapel of St. John at The Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, IL. Pastor Alan Miller from Peace Lutheran Church of Glidden will officiate.

A private burial will be held in Glidden at the Merle Hay Cemetery followed by a Celebration of William's life with his close friends and family.

Survivors include his Mother, Joan of Arlington Heights IL (formerly of Glidden), a brother David, of Salida, CO, and a sister Annie and husband Paul of Gurnee, IL. William was preceded in death by his Father, James Platt.
