Virginia "Ginger" Bobenmoyer

August 30, 1944 — February 19, 2008

Graveside service for Virginia "Ginger" Bobenmoyer of Sarasota will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2008, at Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden. Miss Bobenmoyer, 63, formerly of Glidden, died Feb. 19 at a cancer center in Tampa, Fla. A funeral service will follow at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Lake View. Pastor Travis will officiate the services. Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home of Carroll is in charge of arrangements. A daughter of Henry and Ida (Seeden) Gross, she was born Aug. 30, 1944, at Carroll and graduated from Glidden-Ralston High School in 1962. She was a charge nurse at Manor Care Health Services. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and enjoyed going to the beach. Survivors include two sons: Bradley Bobenmoyer and wife Mary Beth of Bristow and Bret Bobenmoyer and wife Kim of North Port, Fla.; four grandchildren: Jessica, Aundrea, Emily and Jacob Bobenmoyer; two sisters: Elnora Stuenkel of Mount Home, Ark., and Ethel Funk of Decatur, Ill.; and a brother, Bob Gross, and his wife, Sandy, of Lake View. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and seven sisters.
