Tabitha Sue Tapps

Tabitha Sue Tapps, age 56, of Carroll, IA, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 at her home in Carroll.

According to Tabby’s wishes a private family service will be held.

Tabby, as she was affectionately known to friends and family, was born on December 6, 1966 in Carroll, IA, and she was the daughter of Norman and Joyce (Armstrong) Tapps.  She grew up in Carroll and graduated from Carroll High School in 1985.  She worked with Bubble Gum Bill Butler and later at Walmart.  Tabby had three daughters: Heather, Amy, and Holly.  She enjoyed crafts, painting, and listening to her favorite music.

Tabby is survived by her three daughters and their families:  Heather Hagge (Ryan) of Westside and their three children: Kylie, Zoey, and Bryson; Amy Simons (Justin) of Carroll and their three children: Clayton, Becca, and Piper; and Holly Crabb and her children: Ariel and Reilly; her father Norman Tapps of Carroll; her brother Roger Tapps (Shelly) of Carroll; her sister Kathi Tapps-Gordon (Steve) of Cave Creek, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.

Tabby was preceded in death by her mother Joyce Tapps in 2019.
