Sheryl Hawes

Sheryl Lynn Hawes, age 48, of Carroll passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Meadow Grove Fire Hall in Meadow Grove, Nebraska with Pastor Bob McKnight officiating. A luncheon and reception will follow the service. Born on July 10, 1964 at Norfolk, Nebraska, she was the daughter of Richard and Betty (Dunlap) Wright. She grew up in Norfolk and her family moved to Meadow Grove in 1975. She was married to Clayton Hawes on July 28, 1990 at the Christian Missionary Alliance at Meadow Grove. In 1998 the couple moved to Charter Oak and Sheryl moved to Carroll in 2010. Sheryl loved spending time with her granddaughter Keelee. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Hawes of Carroll; her husband Clayton Hawes of Denison; her granddaughter Keelee; four brothers: Richard Wright and his wife Darla of Meadow Grove, Nebraska, Michael Wright and his wife Patty of Stanton, Nebraska, Clay Wright and his wife Donna of Norfolk, Nebraska, and Bruce Wright and his wife Rhonda of Newton, Iowa; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
