Shelby Sue Astleford

Committal services for 5 day old Shelby Sue Astleford of Carroll will be Thursday, April 10, 2008, at 10:30 AM at the Johnson & Woodhouse Funeral Home in Coon Rapids. Father Anthony Pick will officiate. David Trecker and LeAnn Hostetler will serve as casket bearers. Interment at Union Township Cemetery will follow services. Shelby was born 17 weeks premature at 4:12 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. She weighed 1 pound, 7.5 ounces and was 11 ¾ inches long. Shelby was baptized on the day of her birth. On Monday, April 7, 2008, she died from premature complications at Omaha Children’s Hospital. Shelby is survived by her parents Scott and Sara Astleford of Carroll; grandparents: Joe and Susan Trecker of Coon Rapids and Edward and Carma Astleford of Glidden; great-grandparents: Bill and Mary Ann Compton of Coon Rapids and Harold and Doris Astleford of Lake City; Aunts and Uncles: LeAnn and Tyler Hostetler of Jefferson; David and Jessica Trecker of Churdan; Lance Astleford of Lanesboro and Brant Astleford of Glidden; one cousin Gavin Trecker; and by several great-aunts, great-uncles and other relatives.
