Funeral Services for Shawn Muhr, age 26, of Coon Rapids will be Sunday, February 6, 2011, at 1:30 PM at the Coon Rapid Bayard High School. Interment will be at Union Township Cemetery east of Coon Rapids. Friends may call after 3 PM on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the Coon Rapids Bayard High School, where a prayer service will be held at 7 PM. The Johnson & Woodhouse Funeral Home in Coon Rapids is handling arrangements. Shawn died Saturday, January 29, 2011, while serving in Afghanistan. Shawn is survived by: his wife Wendy Olchawa and stepson Devin Olchawa, of Boaz, Alabama; his father David Muhr of Coon Rapids; his mother Shirley Land of Tennessee; a brother Aaron Muhr of Coon Rapids; three sisters: Delinda Scheuermann of Mt. Carmel; Vennessa Warneka of Carroll Erica Muhr-Burris of Scranton; three uncles: Mike Willenborg of Carroll; Pat Willenborg of Coon Rapids Dick Boston of Connecticut; three aunts: Bernice Muhr of Audubon; Chris Mickels of Delaware Betty Christensen of Coon Rapids.
