She grew up on the farm and graduated from Kuemper High School in 1960. Sharon worked for the Carroll Chamber of Commerce and a local car dealership following high school. Sharon met the love of her life, Eldon Wright, at the wedding of their friends Denis and Judy Gibson. Eldon and Sharon were married on October 8, 1966 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dedham. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Varscei Club amongst many other clubs. Sharon had several part time jobs over the years, but she was a farmwife at heart and was very active in their farming operation, milking cows, field work, and helping with harvest. She also attended DMACC in Carroll and earned a business degree and then worked for MacDonald Insurance and Heritage Insurance helping countless customers. She was a fabulous cook, and she also enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, playing cards, and being the best grandma ever.
