Rose Anne Huffman

Rose Anne Huffman, age 82, of Jefferson and formerly of Scranton passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Greene County Medical Center Long Term Care in Jefferson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton with Pastor Robert McKnight officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at a later date in the Highland Township Cemetery near Churdan. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton and online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com\ Born on December 14, 1934 in Jefferson, IA, she was the daughter of James and Nadine (Stewart) Spaulding. She attended country school near Scranton as a girl. Rose Anne worked as a waitress and did babysitting in her home. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, selling Avon products, going to the stock car races, fishing, and spending time with her family. Rosanne is survived by special kids Matt Scheuermann of Carroll, Dee Scheuermann of Minnetonka, MN; two grandchildren: Andy and Dylan Scheuermann; a sister Maudie Ganoe of Jefferson; two brothers: Jerry Spaulding (Ruth) of Jefferson and Frank Spaulding of Des Moines; and several nieces and nephews and many good friends. Rosanne was preceded in death by her parents James and Nadine Spaulding; her husband Kermit Huffman; her brothers: Bill, Jimmy, Chris, and Norman; sisters: Lovola Bailey, Iola Bonnette, Eva Mae Gustoff, and Mary Lou and Janet Spaulding in infancy.
