Rosalie Ann Zacher

Rosalie Ann Zacher, age 92, of Carroll, IA, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Catholic Church – St. John Paul II Parish in Carroll at 11 A.M. on Thursday, March 31, 2022 with Fr. Stan Mader as Celebrant.  Music for the Mass will be by Kathy Halbur and the St. Lawrence Choir.  Lector for the Mass will be Greg Mader. Gift bearers will be Jim Mader and Mary Jo Franske.  Casket bearers will be Jim Mader, Greg Mader, Rose Mader, Mary Jo Franske, Dave Franske, and Jerry Brincks.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Willey.

Visitation will be held at St. Lawrence Church from 9:30 A.M. – 10:45 A.M. on Thursday prior to the Mass.

Rosalie was born on December 29, 1929 in Carroll and she was the daughter of Ludwig and Mary (Brincks) Zacher.  Rosie grew up on a farm near Willey.  She was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and attended school at St. Mary’s Catholic School.  In 1956 her parents retired from farming and moved to Carroll.  Rosie did house work for various families over the years and also worked for the Garst and Thomas Seed Company in Coon Rapids.  She was a member of St. Lawrence Parish.  She enjoyed the outdoors and her pets.

Rosie has no immediate surviving family members, however, she had several good friends and her St. Anthony Nursing Home family.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
