Ronnie Leo Beyerink, age 86, of Coon Rapids, IA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Addington Place of Carroll.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Coon Rapids. Fr. Patrick Behm will be the Celebrant. Lector for the Mass will be Bob Schreck. Gift bearers will be his granddaughters: Alicia Mach, Brittany Krantman, Blair Silliman, and Destani Rogers. Music for the Mass will be by the Annunciation Choir with Diane Slater as organist. Casket bearers will be his grandsons: Adam Richards, Bryce Beyerink, Alex Richards, Brock Silliman, Garrett Smith, and Levi Smith. Burial will be in Coon Rapids Cemetery in Coon Rapids.
Visitation will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church in Coon Rapids from 5 – 7 P.M. on Monday where there will be a Rosary prayed at 7 P.M. Additional visitation will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church from 9:30 – 10:15 A.M. on Tuesday prior to the Mass.

Ronnie was born on May 6, 1940 in Carrollton, IA, and he was the son of Albert and Lena (Broich) Beyerink. He attended Coon Rapids Community Schools graduating with the Class of 1959. On October 26, 1963 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Anthofer at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dedham. They were blessed with four children: Denise, Mike, Jenny, and Amy. They made their home in rural Coon Rapids where Ronnie farmed and raised livestock until he retired. Ronnie did not know a stranger and enjoyed visiting with the many people he met throughout his years and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Ronnie was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Coon Rapids. He loved playing cribbage, euchre, and pinochle with his family and friends. He also enjoyed many fishing adventures. But most of all he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Dorothy Beyerink of Coon Rapids, IA; children: Denise Richards (Doug) of Johnston, IA, Mike Beyerink of Des Moines, IA, Jenny Silliman (Rick) of Ankeny, IA, Amy Smith (Danny) of Guthrie Center, IA; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Darlene Lloyd of Coon Rapids, IA; brother Paul Beyerink of Coon Rapids, IA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Lois Beyerink of Carroll, Larry Anthofer (Trudy) of Vermillion, SD, Judy Schreck (Bob) of Carroll, Linda Halbur (Keith) of Omaha, NE, Donna Drake and significant other Kenny Golay both of Bayard, Susie Willenborg of Des Moines, IA; Christy Drake (Jim) of Dedham, IA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law Frank and Ann Anthofer; brothers and sisters: Evelyn Gute (Clarence), Alice Lengemann (Carl), Louise Behrens (Virgil), Ralph Beyerink; brothers-in-law Joe Anthofer (Jan), and Dave Drake.
