Roberta Eileen Noyes

Roberta Eileen Noyes, age 68, of Jefferson, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Church of Christ in Jefferson with Rev. Bruce Webster officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. on Thursday until the time of service. Burial will be in the Scranton Township Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton. Born on September 2, 1944 at Churdan, Iowa, she was the daughter of Wesley and Laverne (Cochran) Brown. She grew up in the Churdan area where she attended school. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Jefferson. Roberta has lived at the Jefferson Manor Nursing Home for the past two years. Surviving are a daughter Diane Fister of Jefferson, Iowa; a son Robert Eich of Marshalltown, Iowa; four sisters: Sally VanHorn of Phoenix, Arizona, Romona Clift Johnson and her husband Wayne of Plant City, Florida, Mardell Shipley of Scranton, and Karen Brown of Scranton; three half sisters: Velma Henning and her husband Ivan of Scranton, donna Gerdes of Glidden, and Doneta Lindquist and her husband Lawrence of Sac City, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Warren Heater.
