Robert Schelle

Robert John Schelle, age 53, of Carroll passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at his home in Carroll. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Fr. Timothy Johnson of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Carroll officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll and online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com Born on August 18, 1962 in Sioux City, he was the son of Gregory and Cecilia (Loeffelholtz) Schelle. Bob, as he was known to most, grew up in Breda and graduated from Carroll High School in 1981. He was married to Lana Knight on July 18, 1987 at the First United Methodist Church in Atlantic. The couple lived in Carroll where Bob did farming and worked at Wal-Mart for several years. He was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Breda. He enjoyed fishing, Facebook, going to auctions, and he was an auto enthusiast. Bob is survived by a son Joseph Schelle of Atlantic; a daughter Crystal Schelle of Atlantic; grandchildren: Cheven, Adrianna, and Zander; his ex-wife Lana Marquez of Atlantic; a brother Marc Schelle of Des Moines; and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Jolene Olerich.
