Robert J. Reinart

Robert J. “Bobby” Reinart, age 70, of Carroll and formerly of Glidden passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2020 at Accura Healthcare of Manning.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, December 7, 2020 at St. John Paul II Parish – Holy Spirit Church in Carroll with Fr. Kevin Richter as Celebrant.  Lector for the Mass will be Dave McNamara.  Music for the Mass will be by Jane Heithoff.  Casket bearers will be Don Schon, Lynn Stork, Mark Caraher, Charlie Smith, Dave McNamara, and Bruce Jepson.  Burial will be in the Scranton Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Holy Spirit Church from 9:30 – 10:15 A.M. on Monday.  Those in attendance are required to abide by Covid-19 guidelines and facemasks are required in the church.

Bobby as he was known to most was born June 7, 1950 in Carroll, IA, and he was the son of Harold and Alice (Everets) Reinart. Bobby grew up on the Reinart family farm south of Glidden and attended Glidden – Ralston School. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church while living in Glidden and he attended Holy Spirit Church after moving to Carroll in 2002 where he lived at Mallard View.  He was also a member of the Carroll Knights of Columbus.  Most recently Bob lived at the Family Resource Center group home on North Carroll Street.  Bobby enjoyed playing Bingo, gardening, weaving, coloring, going on outings, his stuffed bear collection, and he was an avid Glidden Wildcats fan.

Bob is survived by his sister Wilma Reinart of Carroll; several cousins; and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents Harold and Alice Reinart; and his brother Tom.
