Richard Lee Byerly

Richard Lee Byerly, age 62, of Scranton passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at his residence in Scranton. Born on December 7, 1946 at Jefferson, Iowa, he was the son of Darrell and Lois (Culver) Byerly. He grew up in Scranton and graduated from Scranton High School in 1965. He worked for Electrolux in Jefferson for many years. Surviving are a son Marc Simons; a sister Lynda Rose of Des Moines; a brother Jerry Byerly of Scranton; and a sister Christie Byerly of Scranton; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Scranton Township Cemetery near Scranton with Rev. Robert McKnight officiating. Military honors will be by the Scranton American Legion.
