Rhonda Lynn Olerich, age 72, of Carroll, IA, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Regency Park in Carroll.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Faith Baptist Church in Carroll with Rev. Jay Chapman officiating. Casket bearers will be Rhonda’s six grandchildren. Burial will be in the Dillavou Cemetery near Scranton.
Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 5 – 7 P.M. on Friday. The casket will be moved to Faith Baptist Church at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday where visitation will resume until 10:15 A.M. prior to the service.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll and online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for a later designation.
Rhonda was born on October 21, 1953. She grew up in Scranton, IA, where she graduated from high school. She was married to Allan Olerich in 1971 and to this union three sons were born: Rod, Michael, and Scott. The couple made their home in Des Moines for a short time before moving to Glidden. Rhonda worked for Carroll Broadcasting as office manager for many years. She was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Carroll. Rhonda enjoyed playing the piano, watching sports, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
Rhonda is survived by her sons and their families: Rod Olerich (Marly) of Tiffin, IA, Michael Olerich (Angela) of Glidden, and Scott Olerich of Carroll; six grandchildren: Kayla Bush (Zack), Miranda Mergen (Nick), Bailey Olerich, Dylan Olerich, Lance Olerich, and Bailyn Olerich; a great-granddaughter Harper Bush; a sister Marilyn Phillips of Indiana; two brothers-in-law Jim Hall of Norwalk and Loran Grant of Bakersfield, CA; and several other extended family members.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents Dwight and Florence (Morlan) Marsh; and two sisters: Jean Hall and Jan Grant.
