Renee Marie Reid

Renee Marie Reid, age 53, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Denver Health Medical Center in Denver. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Rev. Brian Camara officiating. Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Carroll City Cemetery. Born on March 12, 1961 in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of Reed and Louayne (Osten) Barnes. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith as a girl. She grew up in Denver where she attended Denver Public Schools. Renee enjoyed cooking, animals and collecting photos of animals. She is survived by her mother Louayne Warner and her husband Edgar of New Hampton, Iowa; her father Reid Barnes Sr. and his wife Mary of Denver, Colorado; a daughter Chaleene Matthair of El Paso, TX; three sons: Daniel Reid of Council Bluffs, IA, Shane Reid of Denver, CO, and Vincent Reid of Denver, CO; two grandchildren: Megan and Tristan; a brother Russell Lee and his wife Holly of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Renee was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother Reed Barnes Jr.
