Randy “B.R.” Scott Janssen, age 57, of Glidden passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at his home in Glidden. A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden with Duane Bundt officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow the service at the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden and online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com. Born on October 5, 1958 in Carroll, Iowa, he was the son of Ronald and Sandra (Tubbs) Janssen. He grew up in Glidden and graduated from Glidden High School in 1977. Following high school, he worked construction with his father. B.R. enjoyed fishing, camping, driving his scooter to the butterfly garden, and spending time with his family. Randy is survived by a son Carl Janssen; a daughter Lisa Crouch (Brandon) of Carroll, a son Tim Frazier (Martha Buck) of Manning; two grandchildren: Leila and Zayden Crouch; his special Joann Frazier of Denison, a sister Diane Kramer (David) of Florida, a brother Kelly Janssen of Florida, a brother Tracy Janssen of Platte City, MO, a brother Kevin Janssen of Carroll, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Danny and Kenny, a son Scott Brauckman, and an infant brother.
