Peggy Stovall

Peggy Stovall, age 57, of South Lake Tahoe, California, and formerly of Carroll passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Barton Memorial Hospital in South Lake Tahoe. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 24, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Glidden with Fr. Anthony Pick as celebrant assisted by Deacon Gary Schon. Visitation will be held at the church from noon on Friday until the time of service. Lector for the Mass will be Jim VanDyke and Gift Bearers will be Patsy Berg and LaVern Neu. Organist for the Mass will be by Mary Ross. Burial will be in the Holy Angels Cemetery in Roselle. Peggy was born on September 17, 1953 in Carroll, Iowa; she was the daughter of Norbert and Vivian (Neu) Hulsing. She graduated from Kuemper High School in 1971. She was married to Allan Stovall on May 27, 1977. Peggy ran her own cleaning business in Lake Tahoe for several years. She enjoyed gardening and antique shopping. Survivors include her husband Allan of South Lake Tahoe, California; her two children, Katy Stovall of Des Moines and Alex Stovall of South Lake Tahoe; her mother Vivian Hulsing of Glidden; two brothers, James Hulsing of Roselle and Darrell and his wife Meridy Hulsing of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Patty Hulsing of Urbandale and Sharon Hulsing of Carroll; a sister-in-law Janice Hulsing of Roselle; her mother-in-law Arleen Stovall of Lansing, Kansas; two brothers-in-law Tom and his wife Becky Stovall of Leavenworth, Kansas and Glenn Stovall of Salina, Kansas; a sister-in-law Marion Seymour and her husband Sherman of Topeka, Kansas; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Norbert Hulsing in 2010, her brother Robert Hulsing, her father-in-law Wayne Stovall and nephew Dustin Stovall.
