Pamela Dianne Billmeier, age 60, of Carroll passed away at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll on November 12, 2007.
Born on February 11, 1947 at Earlham, Iowa she was the daughter of D.B. and Lois (Buckner) Farver. Pam was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Jefferson. She had been a member of Toast Masters and was a Sunday School teacher for many years at various churches. She did volunteer work at New Hope Village. As a young girl she attended several schools and graduated from Fellsmere High School in Fellsmere, Florida. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, decorating her home learning, teaching, and helping others. She was a social worker and worked with special needs children.
Surviving are her husband Gerald (Jerry) of Carroll; a daughter Connie Truninger and her husband Steve of Kansas City, Missouri; two sons: Bill Stoll of Atlanta, Georgia, and Paul Stoll of Chicago, Illinois; step children: Karen Schrorer and her husband Dave of Carroll, Donna Magner of Carroll, Jim Billmeier and his wife Karla of Carroll and David Billmeier and his wife Heidi of Redfield, Iowa; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren; 5 sisters: Janet Wilson of Loganville, Georgia, Pat Farver of Nixa, Missouri, Jeannie Tappe of Springfield, Missouri, and Lorie Ruth of Humanville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Steve Farver.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the First Assembly of God Church in Jefferson with burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday where there will be a prayer service held at 7:00 P.M.. The casket will be moved to the church at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday to lie in state until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in Pam’s memory for the Food bank and memorials may be left at the funeral home or the church. Music will be provided by the church musicians. Casket bearers will be Dave Paulson, Dean Delzell, Gary Goodwin, Gary Halterman, Gerry McCombs, and Jeremy Kline. Honorary casket bearers will be Barry Jensen and Mike Jensen.
