Opal Mae Wright

Opal Mae Wright, age 85, of Carroll passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the Carroll Health Center in Carroll, Iowa. Born May 2, 1926 at Hartley, Iowa. She grew up in Davenport, Iowa. She was married to Walter Wright on May 12, 1946. The couple lived in several cities in Iowa before moving to Carroll in the late 1980’s. In her spare time she enjoyed her cat and dog, embroidery, knitting, and cross word puzzles. Surviving are her husband Walter of Carroll; a son T.W. Wright and his wife Yvonne of Carroll; and many brothers and sisters. At Opal’s request there will be no services. The Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll is in charge of arrangements.
