Olga Nava Haro, age 56, of Carroll, IA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Nebraska Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church – St. John Paul II Parish. Fr. Patrick Behm will be the Celebrant. Gift bearers will be her brothers Hugo, Bryant, and Walter. Music for the Mass will be by Kathy Halbur as organist and Kathleen Macke as Cantor. Casket bearers will be Olga’s family members. Burial will be with her family in Mexico City, Mexico.

Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 5 – 7 P.M. on Monday where there will be a Rosary prayed at 7 P.M. Additional visitation will be held at Holy Spirit Church from 10 – 10:45 A.M. on Tuesday prior to the Mass.

Olga Nava Haro was born on October 22, 1969 in Mexico City, Mexico. She was the daughter of Ruben Nava Lopez and Clementina Haro Alvarez. She grew up in Mexico City and graduated from high school and college in Mexico before moving to the United States. She lived in California for several years before moving to Carroll to be near her family. Olga was employed as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at St. Anthony Regional Hospital. She also worked at her family’s restaurant, Jalisco, in Carroll. Olga loved her dogs Valentina and Gypsy. She enjoyed going for walks, taking care of her flowers and plants, and most of all spending time with her family.

Olga is survived by her parents Ruben Nava Lopez and Clementina Haro Alvarez; three brothers: Hugo Haro and his wife Ivy of Carroll, Walter Haro of Mexico City, Mexico, and Bryant Haro of Pella; and two nephews: Luca and Emiliano.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents in Mexico.

Olga Nava Haro, de 56 años, de Carroll, Iowa, falleció en paz el martes 21 de abril de 2026 en el Nebraska Medical Center, rodeada de su familia.

La Misa de Funeral Cristiano se celebrará a las 11:00 a.m. el martes 28 de abril de 2026 en la Iglesia Católica Holy Spirit – Parroquia St. John Paul II. El Padre Patrick Behm será el celebrante. Los portadores de ofrendas serán sus hermanos Hugo, Bryant y Walter. La música de la Misa estará a cargo de Kathy Halbur como organista y Kathleen Macke como cantante. Los portadores del féretro serán familiares de Olga. El sepelio se llevará a cabo en una fecha posterior con su familia en la Ciudad de México, México.

Disfrutaba salir a caminar, cuidar sus flores y plantas y, sobre todo, pasar tiempo con su familia.

A Olga le sobreviven sus padres, Rubén Nava López y Clementina Haro Álvarez; tres hermanos: Hugo Haro y su esposa Ivy, de Carroll; Walter Haro, de la Ciudad de México, México; y Bryant Haro, de Pella; así como dos sobrinos, Luca y Emiliano.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus abuelos en México.
