Marie A. Arndt

Marie Alane Arndt, age 71, of Carroll, Iowa, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.

Marie was born on June 14, 1952, at the Queen of Angels Hospital in Los Angeles, California, and was the daughter of Leo George and Lois Emma (Wilkinson) Arndt. She attended West Covina High School, graduating with the Class of 1970. She then attended college at Mt. San Antonio Community College where she received her associate degree. In 1987, she moved to Manson, Iowa, with her father and in 1991, Marie made Carroll home. She was employed as a housekeeper at the Super 8 Motel in Carroll for several years until she retired in November of 2014. In June of 2023, she moved to Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carroll.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
