Beautiful and gentle soul Marianne “Annie Hall” Hines spread her wings on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 on Skky Farm in Coon Rapids IA, 60 years young. She leaves behind her beloved husband Mike Hines, her equine best friend Pride, many chickens, her dog Syd and quite a few friends. A gifted artist and animal lover, she had recently won Best In Show at the Guthrie County Fair for her paintings. Rarely did a visit from Annie not involve the gift of a dozen beautiful pastel colored eggs, often arranged in a pattern and presented in a clear plastic case for viewing pleasure. She was kind beyond measure and wonderfully generous. Quick witted with an easy laugh and an adventuresome spirit. Originally from Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, BC, Canada, she would share stories of highlights from her childhood there, often involving bareback horse riding and running into bears and fishing in the mountains - much time in the out of doors. A heart wrenching loss to absorb her early departure, yet a relief to know she was doing what she loved - working outdoors on the Hines’ peony farm, with the songs of nature all around and a sunny blue sky overhead to welcome her Home. We will miss our sweet, sweet Annie.
In accordance’s to Annie’s wishes, no services will be held.
