Margie M. Heuton, age 77, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Virginia Highlands Nursing Home in Germantown, Wisconsin following a long illness. Born on February 23, 1930 at Carroll County, Iowa, she was the daughter of Henry and Mable (Warning) Prill Warning. She grew up in Glidden and graduated from Glidden High School. She was married to Dale Heuton on June 20, 1948 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Glidden. The couple moved to California in 1961 and came back to Glidden in 1967. Margie was a secretary for many years at First National Bank in Glidden. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Carroll. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, attending her grandchildren’s events, and trips to the casinos. Surviving are a daughter Kristy Heuton of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin; three sons: Norman Heuton and his special friend Wanda Lee Brown of Glidden, Tom Heuton and his wife Sue Ann of Glidden, and Tim Heuton of Ontario, California; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, three sisters: Mildred Stuhr of Carroll, Marian Lowell and her husband Jerry of LaQuinta, California, and Marlene VanHorne of Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sisters: Mae and Malinda Prill, and Martina Smith, a granddaughter Laura Beth Heuton, and a daughter-in-law Joan Heuton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Carroll with Pastor Bichel officiating. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden on Monday, October 22, 2007 where there will be a prayer service held at 7:00 p.m.. The casket will be moved to the church at 8:30 a.m. on Monday to lie in state until the time of service. Burial will be at Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden. Casket bearers will be grandsons: Bill Heuton, Jeremy Heuton, Matt Heuton, and Ryan DeWerth.
