Lynn Ann Lockhart

Lynn Ann Lockhart, age46, of Carroll passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 10, 2011 due to injuries suffered in an auto accident. Private family services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Rev. Dennis Bailey of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll on Friday evening from 5 - 7 P.M. Burial will be in the Carroll City Cemetery. Born on August 5, 1964 at Carroll, Iowa, she was the daughter of Glenn and Lucille (Roth) Lockhart. She grew up in Carroll and graduated from Carroll High School in 1982. She then attended Iowa State University and majored in Architecture. After college she lived in Boone. She was married to Marvin Reiter and the couple later divorced. She was currently employed by Carroll Country Store. Lynn enjoyed all types of animals especially Black Labs. She was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed music. She also enjoyed handwork and painting. Surviving are her daughter Nicole Reiter of Ames, a granddaughter Eva Kline of Ames, her parents Glenn and Lucy Lockhart of Carroll; a sister Lori Sturm and her husband Mark of Rural Glidden; a brother David Lockhart and his wife Sherry of Ankeny; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
