Loretta Lee Walker, age 74, of Carroll passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Pastor Rick Hamilton officiating. Casket bearers will be Tom Reiter, Chris Boggs, Tim Powers, Roxanne Golwitzer, Sharon Beyer, and Rick Beyer. Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5 – 7 P.M. at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll and will resume at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday until the time of service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll and online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com Born on February 21, 1942 in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of Arthur and Ruth (Perkins) Lee. She grew up in Lexington, KY and graduated from Lafayette High School in 1961. Following high school Loretta went to work for G.E. Telephone Company. She was married to Tommy Lee Walker on May 29, 1961 in Lexington, KY. The couple made their home in Lexington, KY, until moving to Florida and several other locations with Tommy’s career driving for Greyhound. Loretta and Tommy moved to Carroll in 2015 to be close to family. Loretta enjoyed caring for her yard, growing flowers, scrapbooking, bowling, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Loretta is survived by her husband Tommy Lee Walker of Carroll; two daughters: Kathleen Walker-Brown (Robert Douglas Brown) of Glidden and Jennifer Teems (Michael) of Sebring, FL; son Thomas Benjamin Walker (Bonnie) Orlando, FL; eight grandchildren: Amber Powers (Tim) of Emmettsburg, IA, Desirae Sorensen (Chris Boggs) of Carroll, Julia Walker of Leesburg, FL, Jeffrey Walker of Korea, Rebecca Walker of Minnesota, Clint Walker of Montana, Kayla Walker of Montana, and Clay Teems of Florida; step-grandson James Brown of Exira, IA ; eight great grandchildren: Jesse, Shelby, Amelia, Joseph, Hailey, Maven, Landon, and Lilly; sister Beverly Wyatt (Mike) of Lexington, KY, two brothers: Mike Fogle of Lexington, KY, and David Fogle of Lexington, KY. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Steven Fogle.
