Leland Charles Burrow

Leland Charles Burrow, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the Hayhurst Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, OK.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Carroll City Cemetery.

Leland Charles Burrow was born on January 14, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri, to  Charles W. Burrow and Isabelle (Swarm) Burrow. Two years after graduating high school, he met a beautiful girl by the name of Rosemary Osborne. He married that girl on April 2, 1948. Together, they had four children: Michelle, Lynden, Mark and Stephen.  Leland worked in public service for the city of Carroll, Iowa before beginning a short venture in Rogers, Arkansas. Shortly thereafter they returned to Carroll, Iowa for several years before moving to Broken Arrow later in life.
He loved fishing and hunting, gardening, working in the yard and really doing anything outside. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, but traveling around with his sweetheart, Rosemary, was his favorite.

He will be greatly missed by his family and those that knew him.  Leland is survived by his children Michelle Cook (Roger)of Jenks, OK, Lynden Burrow of Bixby, OK, and Mark Burrow of Carroll, IA; grandchildren: Eric Burrow, Stephanie Crawford, Jacque Stafford, Michael Burrow, and John Hubbard; and numerous other beloved family members.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary Burrow and son Stephen Burrow.
