Kevin Karl Janssen, age 55, of Clearfield and formerly of Glidden passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in Carroll. A Celebration of Kevin's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden with Rev. Brian Camara of First Presbyterian Church in Glidden officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery in Glidden. He grew up in Glidden and attended Glidden-Ralston High School. Kevin worked in the construction and carpentry trade for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and socializing with friends and family. Surviving are his daughter Sara Holst (Mike) and three grandchildren of Lake City, sister Diane Kramer (David) of Poinciana, Florida, brothers; Tracy Janssen of Platte City, Missouri, Kelly Janssen of Davenport, Florida, aunt Edna Janssen of Carroll, sister-in-law Pam Janssen-Irlbeck (Bobby) of Templeton, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Carl and Bernice Janssen (Ward), and Dick and Effie Tubbs, his parents; Ronald Janssen, Sandra Janssen, his brothers; Daniel Janssen, Randy (BR) Janssen and Kenneth Janssen, his uncle; Donald (Red) Janssen, a niece in infancy and a nephew Scott.
