Kenneth Morris

     Kenneth Emerson Morris, age 51, of Carroll passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center, West Lakes, in Des Moines.      Born on March 19, 1968 in San Diego, CA, he was the son of Arthur and Judith (Hardy) Morris.  He grew up in California, Georgia, Texas, Kentucky, and Indiana.  He moved to Carroll in 2000 and worked at the Carroll Country Club as a cook.  Ken enjoyed fishing, camping, playing with his dog Buddy, and cooking.      Ken is survived by his two daughters: Katrina Strickland of Grinnell, IA, and Alanna Morris of Des Moines; his special friend Shellie Butler of Carroll; his siblings: Sally Werkmeister of Des Moines; Robin Morris of Norman, OK, Kelly Boes (Keith) of Breda, and Chris Sleigh (Carol Jean) of Gainesville, TX.  Ken was preceded in death by his parents.      According to Ken's wishes, no services will be held.
