Kelton was born October 12, 2006 in Carroll, IA.  He was the son of Brady and Jodi (Koele) Boell.  He grew up in Carroll and was currently a senior at Carroll High School.  Kelton worked with his father and cousin Tyler on the Boell family farm north of Lidderdale.  He was baptized and confirmed at the First United Methodist Church in Carroll.  Kelton loved all things outdoors including duck hunting, fishing, and pheasant hunting. From a young age Kelton loved to be outdoors, and learning everything he could absorb about nature. He would borrow knowledge and equipment from his dad but these last few years it was his dad asking those things from him because he became an expert. Listening to his friends’ stories that sentiment was echoed.  He loved going to Okoboji and wake boarding and tubing with his buddies on west lake. He became an expert navigating those waters either in his boat, the old Lund or in Grandpa Brad’s fishing boat, both of which he cherished.

Most importantly Kelton was a big brother. His love for his sister surpassed all else. When Mom and Dad had to be gone, they knew he would take care of her. Hanging out in her room trading new songs he liked with her and asking about her day at school. Car rides were always fun when these two would go back and forth. He was never too old to sit down and watch a good Scooby Doo episode. He was reluctant to put down fishing poles but was glad to do it when she needed a fish removed or new bait.

Kelton is survived by his parents Brady and Jodi Boell of Carroll; his sister Minka Boell at home; his maternal grandparents Brad and Gloria Koele of Moville; his paternal grandparents Eugene and Diane Boell of Lidderdale; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.

Kelton was preceded in death by his hunting dog Izzy, great-grandparents, and great-aunts and great-uncles.
