Kelli Nichole Kendrick, age 27, of Carroll passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Cedar Valley Hospice in Waterloo. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Rev. Rick Hamilton officiating. Casket bearers will be Kelli’s nurses Lacey Hawks, Crystal Harrison, Cindy Sharkey, Beth Trucke, Jaide Wulf, Sue Johnson. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home from 1:30 P.M. on Sunday until the time of service. The family suggests memorials be made to Kellan’s Kingdom and may be left with the funeral home. Born on November 24, 1989 in Carroll, IA, Kelli was the daughter of Steve and Pam (Bruning) Kendrick. Kelli grew up in Carroll and graduated from Carroll High School in 2009. Following high school, Kelli was cared for by her family and many loving nurses in her family’s home. Kelli loved going to Disney World in Florida, amusement parks, and the Iowa State Fair. Her favorite activities were baking, shopping, watching movies, Iowa Hawkeyes Football, and going to the casino with her Mom. Kelli is survived by her mom Pam Kendrick of Altoona; her three brothers: Joe Owen (Kortney) of Cedar Falls, Ryan Owen (Angie) of Cedar Falls, and Doug Kendrick (Katie) of Coralville; her grandmother E.J. Kendrick of Olin, NC; four nieces: Adrie, Kyla, Ellory, and Lauren; two nephews: Jude and Cruze; other special family members and many loving caregivers and nurses. Kelli was preceded in death by her father Steve Kendrick on May 23, 2017; her paternal grandfather Donald Kendrick; and her maternal grandparents: Ronald and Marvel Bruning.
