Keith E. Worley

Keith Edward Worley, age 57, of Denison and formerly of Carroll passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010 at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Rev. Betty Weidert and Rev. Dr. Michael Fitzsimmons officiating. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 4:30 – 7:30 P.M. on Monday. Casket bearers will be Lyle Marquardt, Jeff Marquardt, Randy Bruhn, Kelly Wenck, Randy Clausen, and Dan Brotherson. Burial will be in the Schleswig Cemetery. Known to friends and family as Worley Bird, he was born on July 8, 1952 at Denison, Iowa, he was the son of Lyle and Leota (Kastner) Worley. He grew up in Schleswig and drove a semi after high school. He was married to Vickie Kline on March 25, 1970 at the Lutheran Church in Schleswig. The couple lived in Schleswig until 1974 when they moved to Carroll where he drove for Crouse Cartage. He later worked for Mau Trucking and Rohlin Construction before becoming an owner operator of his own truck. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Carroll. Surviving are a daughter Darcy Dailey (Doug) of Carroll; a son Brian Worley (Rhonda) of Carroll; a daughter Tiffini Worley of Carroll; Vickie Worley of Carroll; five grandchildren: Reid Dailey, Megan Worley, Jade Worley, Cole Worley, and Trevin Worley; and a brother Larry Worley (Pat) of Eugene, Oregon.
