Justin Dickman, age 22, of rural Coon Rapids, died Sunday, August 9, 2009, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Justin Russell, son of Kendall and Lisa (Allen) Dickman, was born October 8, 1986, at Iowa City, Iowa. He attended Coon Rapids-Bayard Community School, graduating with the class of 2005.
During school, Justin was member of Future Farmers of America and enjoyed attending the national convention in Kentucky. Throughout the years, Justin enjoyed swimming, fishing, planting the garden, listening to all kinds of music and watching movies. He especially liked Larry the Cable Guy, who he was able to see in concert. Since he was in the tenth grade, Justin worked at the Country Store where he enjoyed visiting. He was a friendly person and liked being around people, especially his friends and family. Justin loved his brother and his dog Jake.
On Sunday, August 9, 2009, Justin died suddenly and unexpectedly at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He was 22 years old.
Justin is survived by his parents Kendall and Lisa Dickman of Coon Rapids; a brother Jonathan Dickman and wife Caila of Coon Rapids; his grandparents Virgil and Melva Dickman of Coon Rapids and Lois and Russ Allen of Galva; a nephew Joseph Dickman of Coon Rapids; Aunts and Uncles: Peggy Bagwell of Carroll; Stan Dickman and friend Eva Martin of Winchester, Kentucky; Gary Dickman and his friend Tami of Indianola; Sharlene Gingery and husband Mike of Carroll; Laura Moore and husband Mike of Minnesota; Kelli Vanzweden and husband Neil of Galva; Traci Hagan and husband John of Galva; and by many cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: LeRoy and Ona Harrison; Waldo and Katharina Dickman; Earl and Helen MacGuire; Velma and Glen Allen; a cousin Bailey Werle; and by many great-aunts and great-uncles.
