Her family moved to Carroll when she was a baby. Judy grew up in Carroll and graduated from Kuemper High School in 1962. She was married to James Neil on May 25, 1963 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Carroll. The couple moved to Glidden in 1969 where they raised their four children. Over the years, Judy worked at General Electric, Casey’s, Hy-Vee and Wal-Mart. Judy was an avid reader and was active in her community as a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. She was a Girl Scout leader for her children and then again for her grandchildren and always had more to give. She was often seen around town on her many walks and adventures with her grandchildren. Her kindness and generosity were almost endless and she always had a kind comment for everyone she met. She will be greeted in heaven by her parents and her late brother Charlie and his wife Helen.
