Joyce and Jerry made their home in Manning. Joyce worked at Hansen Pahde until 1950 when she joined Bales Grocery. She worked for LR Nelson in the late 1970s and then helped sort seed corn for Garst in Coon Rapids each fall in the early 1980s. Joyce and Gerald were very close and were proud to have celebrated 60 years of marriage on October 19, 2006.
