Graveside services for Joe Langel, age 24, of Milford, IA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden with Fr. Timothy Johnson of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Carroll officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home of Glidden and online condolences may be left for Joe’s family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com Joseph Jonathan Langel, the son of David and Laurie (Brus) Langel, was born September 22, 1991, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. After graduating from Okoboji High School, he attended college at Minnesota West in Jackson, Minnesota. Joe worked in the Lakes area at Wittrock Lawn Service and Kazarelli's Restaurant. He enjoyed playing cards, working on his car and watching football. He also loved to be with his friends and play video games. Joe passed away June 29, 2016 at his home in Milford, Iowa at twenty-four years of age. He is survived by his parents, Dave and Laurie Langel of Milford, Iowa; sisters, Nicole of Ankeny, Iowa and Taylor of Milford, Iowa; grandmother, Theresa (Langel) Soyer of Carroll, Iowa. Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Merle Langel and Elmer and Alta Brus; aunt, Diane Johnston and two uncles, Richard Brus and Duane Brus.
