She was married to Garner McNaught on July 1, 1939 at the Methodist Church in Glidden with Rev. Barnes officiating. Upon Garner’s death she sold the grocery store which is now operated as the Glidden Grocery Store. Jeaner enjoyed volunteering at the Glidden – Ralston School and for many community organizations. She was very active with the Merle Hay Post of the American Legion Auxiliary in Glidden and she was a member of the Glidden United Methodist Church. Jeaner enjoyed knitting, playing bridge, reading, cross word puzzles, painting, following Iowa State Football and Basketball, and spending time with her family. Jeaner had a fun loving spirit and very strong faith. She will be missed by her many good friends and family. Jeaner is survived by her sister Betty Parks of Omaha; four grandchildren: Jennifer LiCausi (Joseph), Christopher McNaught, Courtney Tighe (Sean), and Shelby Beers (Matt); a granddaughter-in-law Tanya McNaught, five great grandchildren: Natallye, Laryssa, Avery, Nicholas, and Mason; and several nieces and nephews.
