Jaqueline "Jackie" Sue Evans

   Jaqueline “Jackie” Sue Evans, age 53, of Carroll passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital surrounded by her family.     Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at St. John Paul II Parish – St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Carroll with Fr. Shinoj Jose as celebrant.  Music for the Mass will be by Kate Cuddy and the St. Lawrence Choir with special music by Logan, Dawson, and Spencer Langholdt.  Lector for the Mass will be Spencer Langholdt.  Gift bearers will be her children: Cory Berry and Sydney Evans.  Casket bearers will be Karen Lohman, Patty Rubin, Sandy Pietig, Susan Langbein, Karen Derner, and Renee Golwitzer.   Burial will be in the Holy Family Cemetery near Lidderdale.  Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 3:00 P.M. on Friday where there will be a Rosary at 4:00 P.M. and a Christian Wake Service at 6:30 P.M.  The casket will be moved to the church at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday where visitation will resume until the time of Mass.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll and online condolences may be left for Jackie’s family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com Jackie was born on July 20, 1965 in Carroll, IA, and was the daughter of Paul and Sharon (Snyder) Reinart.  Jackie grew up in Carroll and graduated from Carroll High School in 1984.  She attended DMACC in Ankeny and was married to Rick Berry in 1987.  To this union was born a son Cory.   In 1992 she moved back to Carroll and began her career with American Home Shield where she held several positions.  She was married to Robert Evans in 1997 and to this union was born a daughter Sydney.  Jackie had a strong work ethic and loved to spend time with her family. Jackie is survived by her children: son Cory Berry of Des Moines and daughter Sydney Evans of Templeton; her father Paul Reinart of Carroll, her mother Sharon Wilson of Carroll; brother John Reinart of Carroll, a half-sister Ashley Reinart of Carroll; her special friend Mark Immenschuh of Council Bluffs; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Jackie was preceded in death by her grandparents Cecelia and Hilbert Reinart and Delores and Norbert Snyder, and her sister Joanna Reinart.
