Janet Wurscher

Janet Diane Marie (Casper) Wurscher, age 62, of Moville passed away peacefully in Glidden, Iowa, on Sunday, February 15, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Pleasant Ridge Community Church near Glidden. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden and online condolences may be left at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com Born on December 7, 1952 in Schwetingen, Germany, she was the daughter of Mose and Antonio Casper. She married Berndt Best and with this union, three children were born, Heide Barbara (Best) Rienhardt, Mike Randy Best, and Pete Emil Best. Throughout the years they called home many places, however, one place they held dear to their hearts was Carroll, Iowa. She later was united in marriage with Joseph Wurscher, on April 28, 1995, and have made their home in Moville, Iowa for the past 16 years. Janet was a woman full of many hobbies. She enjoyed having a cup of coffee any time of the day. She was a collector of a variety of things. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory are: her husband, Joseph Wurscher of Moville, Iowa; her siblings, Barbara Covert of Glidden, Iowa, Marie Myers and Bob of Illinois, Ginny Mursewick and husband Mike of Illinois, Carol Davilla and husband Jesus of Ohio; her children, Heide Rienhardt and husband Rick of Dunnell, Minnesota, Mike Best and wife Kim of Lake City, Iowa, Pete Best and wife Mary of Fairmont, Minnesota; her stepchildren, Sherry of St. George, Kansas, Chicone Fox and husband Joel of Carroll, Iowa ; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Brian, Kristin, Tyler, Kaylee, Hailey, Christian, Rachael, Tori, Brandan, Damian, Matthew; her step-grandchilden, Ethan, AJ, and Nathan; seven great grandchildren; one niece; three nephews; and many friends.
