Isledy Ramos Rodriguez, age 44, of Carroll, IA, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2026 at Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, August 24, 2026 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Fr. Patrick Behm officiating. Burial will be in the Carroll City Cemetery. Casket bearers will be her family members.

Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 12:30 – 1:45 P.M. on Monday prior to the service.

Isledy Ramos Rodriguez was born on July 2, 1982, in Sancti Spíritus, Cuba. She was the daughter of Segundo Rolando Ramos Barrios and Margarita Rodriguez Lorenzo. She lived in Jatibonico until completing her pre-university studies and going on to graduate with a degree in agronomy. She married in 2000 and moved to the province of Cienfuegos. There, she started a family with Raul Arles Gonzalez Rodriguez, and their son, Raul Alejandro Gonzalez Ramos, was born. She later moved to the United States in 2015 and became a citizen. In the last years of her life, she battled a terrible illness and fought bravely until the end. May she rest in peace.

Isledy Ramos Rodriguez nacio el dos de Julio de 1982 en Santic Spiritus, Cuba. Hija de Segundo Rolando Ramos Barrios y Margarita Rodriguez Lorenzo. Vivio en Jatibonico hasta terminar Los estudios preuniversitarios y continuar a graduarse de ingenieria agronoma. Se unio en matrimonio en el 2000 y se fue a vivir à la provincia de Cien Fuegos. Formando una familia con Raul Arles Gonzalez Rodriguez y de ese amor surgio Raul Alejandro Gonzalez Ramos. Despues mudandose a los Estados unidos en 2015 y convirtiendose en ciudadana de este paiz. Los ultimos años de su vida lucho a una enfermedad terrible y lucho fuerte hasta el final. Que en paz descanse.
