Ila B. Henning

       Ila Belle Henning, age 85, of Scranton, passed away on July 30, 2018 at The New Homestead Nursing Home in Guthrie Center.      Graveside services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Scranton Township Cemetery near Scranton with Pastor Kerry Jech of New Hope Christian Church in Marshalltown officiating.  Burial will be in the Scranton Township Cemetery near Scranton.      Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton and online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com.      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Christian Benevolent Association, 411 Western Row Road, Mason, Ohio 45040 or Nebraska Christian College, 12550 South 114th Street, Papillion, Nebraska 68046.      Born on August 22, 1932 in Carroll, Ila was the daughter of Russie and Lemma (Lawrence) Henning.  She is survived by a brother, Otis Henning (Karen) of Prairie City; a nephew and several nieces.  Ila was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Raymond Henning (Thelma), Elvero Henning (Dorothy and Carol Keeling), and Francis Henning (Mildred).
