Harold Raymond Doan

Harold Raymond Doan, age 64, of Carroll and formerly of Rockwell City passed away on Monday, November 17, 2008 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. Born on October 24, 1944 at Council Bluffs, Iowa, he was the son of Raymond and Emmy Lou (Hayler) Doan. He grew up in Council Bluffs and lived for many years in Rockwell City. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs in 1963. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Harold has lived at Mallard View in Carroll for the past three years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his sister Susan Schwarzenbach and her husband Larry of Sarasota, Florida; a nephew Todd Schwarzenbach and his wife Jodi; two great nephews, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Harold was also survived by his Mallard View family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Rev. Dr. Michael Fitzsimmons officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. on Friday until the time of service. Organist for the service will be Mrs. Nancy Davis and soloist will be Mr. Skip Raridon. Burial will be in the Rockwell City Cemetery.
