Goldie M. Frazier

Goldie Mae Frazier, age 84, of Glidden passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Regency Park Nursing Home in Carroll. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden with Rev. Patrick Anderson officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. on Saturday until the time of service. Casket bearers will be Jason Lappe, Justin Lappe, Bruce Davidson, Scott Perisho, Donald Lappe, and Brett Sobotka. Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Gidden. Born on August 17, 1928 in Greene County, Iowa. Goldie was the daughter Charles and Edna (Brown) Davidson. As a young girl her family moved to Glidden where she attended the Glidden High School. She was married to Marvin Frazier on December 4, 1946. The couple lived all their married life in Glidden where they raised their children. Goldie enjoyed taking rides around Swan Lake, spending time with her grandchildren and playing Bingo. She has made her home at Regengy Park since 2005. Goldie is survived by a daughter Peggy Perisho and her husband Scott of Zearing, Iowa; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a son-in-law Donald Lappe and his wife Barbara of Atlantic, Iowa. Goldie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1975, a son Robert Frazier and a daughter Linda Lappe in 2003.
