On November 9, 1963, Gloria was united in marriage with Richard Mozena at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jefferson. Two children were born to this union. They then moved to a farm north of Bayard in Willow Township and farmed there until moving into Bayard in 1976. Gloria was also an Avon representative for 16 years.
In her spare time, Gloria enjoyed sewing and shopping, particularly for antiques and crocks.
In October of 2007, Gloria was diagnosed with cancer and died early Sunday, January 27, 2008, at her home in Bayard, Iowa. She was 63 years of age.
