Gladys Berger, age 80, of Glidden, Iowa died at the St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll on May 26, 2010. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday May 28, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Glidden with Father Anthony Pick as celebrant assisted by Deacon Gary Schon. Lector for Mass will be Deacon Gary Schon. Gift bearers will be Judy Weiss and Esterline Blum. Organist for Mass will be Mrs. Mary Ross and Mike Bolton will be soloist. Casket bearers will be Dean Ramsey, Charlie Freml, Mike Bolton, Brian Ross, Ray Snook and Bob VanScoy. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden after 5:00 P.M. on Thursday where there will be a Christian wake service by the parish at 7:00 P.M. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Willey, Iowa. The daughter of Rose (Hoffman) and Matt Berger she was born on Feb 13, 1930 in Carroll County, Iowa. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church and had taught CCD at church. Surviving are a brother Cleo Berger of Elkhorn, Iowa; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
