Duretta "Dee" Nell Bertoli

Duretta “Dee” Nell Bertoli, age 81, of Carroll, IA, and formerly of Davenport, IA, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in Carroll, IA, surrounded by her family.

According to Duretta’s wishes, private family services will be held.

Duretta was born on January 2, 1943 in Davenport, IA, and she was the daughter of Raymond John and Hattie Belle (Potts) Wickman.  She grew up in Iowa and her family moved to California when she was a young girl.  She graduated from Huntington Beach High School.  Following high school, she worked as an office manager as well as being an excellent mother to her two children.  She moved back to Iowa in 2015 to be near her family.  Duretta was accomplished at Brazilian Embroidery and quilting.  She loved spending time with her family.

Duretta is survived by her daughter Candy Rae Bertoli; her son Leon Roy Bertoli; a granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter; a sister Beverly Ann Rojas; and other extended family members.

Duretta was preceded in death by her parents and one niece and one nephew.
