Donald “Donnie” Daniel, age 46, of Scranton passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 due to injuries from an accident east of Scranton. A visitation will be held at the Scranton Community Building in Scranton after 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 where there will be a prayer service held at 6:30 P.M. with a reception to follow. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton and online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com Born on June 15, 1972 in Lake City, IA, he was the son of Daniel and Deb (Anderson) Daniel. He grew up in the Dow City – Arion area and graduated from Jefferson – Scranton High School in 1990. Following high school he worked for Strunks Auto Parts and Motor Parts in Jefferson and then on a dairy farm in Battle Creek. He then worked for Carroll Coolers for 10 years before going to work for Scranton Manufacturing where he has worked for the past 14 years as lead man for the break press operators. Don loved to work on cars, especially his 1967 Firebird, listening to music, playing his PS 4, but most of all riding his 2015 Breakout Harley Davidson. Don is survived by his mother Deb Mohr (Mark) of Scranton; his sister Danielle Fulford of Scranton; his brother Dustin Daniel (Donna) of Scranton; his best friend and partner in life Jeannie Gustoff and her children Jory and Jaron; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Don was preceded in death by his grandparents and father Dan Daniel on July 28, 2018.
