Dianna Irene Wederath Johnson, age 66, of Mineola, Texas, and formerly of Carroll passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at University of Texas Medical Center in Quitman, Texas.
A celebration of Dianna’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Pastor Dianna Lee Wright officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Those in attendance are asked to abide by Covid - 19 social distancing guidelines.

Dianna was born on November 16, 1953 in Carroll, IA, and was the daughter of Leighton and Edna Wederath. Her father was a WW2 Veteran and a longtime Carroll attorney. She grew up in Carroll and graduated from Carroll High School. She attended the University of South Dakota and nursing school in DesMoines. Dianna worked at Doctor’s Hospital in Rowlett, TX, for several years and then had a 27-year nursing career at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. She was married to Jim Johnson on February 14, 2000. The couple made their home in Rockwall, TX, for two years and then moved to Carroll for 10 years before moving to Mineola, TX. Dianna enjoyed going to auctions, gardening, history, and socializing with her many friends. Diana did things her way. She was a dog lover, but most of all she cherished her family especially her granddaughter Leighton.
Dianna is survived by her husband Jim Johnson of Mineola, TX; her son Andrew Clinton Faulkner; her daughter Alexandra Johnson (Chris Taveau) of Mineola, TX; her son Spencer Johnson and (Amber) of Van, TX; her granddaughter Leighton Ann Taveau; and several other extended family members.
Dianna was preceded in death by her parents Leighton and Edna Wederath and her sister Sylvia Wederath.
