Dennis Auen passed away at Regency Park Nursing Home Thursday Oct. 13, 2022.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll with Fr. Patrick Behm officiating.

Denny was born May 20,1944 to Henrietta and Peter Auen. He attended St. Peter and Paul Catholic grade school and graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School in 1963. He was a quiet and unassuming man and through out his life, Denny battled a seizure disorder. He faced this battle with courage and was able to live independently for many years. Over the past few years he moved to Regency park Nursing Home as his health deteriorated.

Denny was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister Mary Lou Dorpinghaus, sister Patricia Millhollin, brother-in-law Tommy Millhollin, brother Kenneth Auen, and sister-in-law Shirley Auen.

He is survived by his brother-in-law Mel Dropinghaus of Maumelle, Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews around the United States.
