Deborah Sue Keat, age 65, of Auburn, IA, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital in Lake City, IA. Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll. Casket bearers will be Zaccery Risley, Sabrina Risley, Austin Risley, Justin Potthoff, Pat Lawler, Steve Annunzio. Honorary casket bearers will be Shelbie Risley, Zane Magner, and Wade Magner. Burial will be held at 1:30 P.M. in St. Mary’s Cemetery near Auburn. Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 5 – 7 P.M. on Friday evening and will resume at 10 A.M. on Saturday until the time of service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll and online condolences may be left for Deb’s family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com Born on April 30, 1952 in Carroll, IA, she was the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Vanderloo) Burgart. Deb grew up in Carroll and attended Carroll High School. Following high school, Deb was married to Robert Magner and to this union were born two children Bobbie and Brian. Deb worked at several restaurants following high school and later at Farner Bocken. She was later remarried to Ronald L. Keat on November 21, 2008 in Carroll. Deb and Ron have made their home in Auburn. Deb enjoyed baking and cooking meals for her family. She dearly loved her children and cherished every moment spent with her grandkids. Deb is survived by her husband Ron of Auburn; daughter Bobbie Risley (Eric) of Iowa Falls, IA; son Brian Magner of Breda; six grandchildren: Zaccery, Sabrina, Austin, and Shelbie Risley and Zane and Wade Magner; a great-grandson Knox; brother Bill Burgart (Grace) of Storm Lake, IA; sister Jayne Boes (Daryl) of Mesa, AZ; two sisters-in-law: Judi Daniel (John) of Carroll and Jane Keat of Carroll; brother-in-law Rick Keat (Mary) of Carroll; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Deb was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Agnes Brugart; a sister Sharon Anunzio, and a brother Randy Burgart.
